en It was an awesome sectional final championship game. I'm really proud of the effort our young ladies put forth this afternoon. In my mind, they are state champions because they battled right down to the wire.

en I'm proud of our guys and the effort they gave. We might not have won a sectional championship but I told them in the locker room after the game they played like champions. They never quit. It would have been easy to pack it in when we got down by 10 points, but they kept fighting.

en It was like a sectional final game, ... or a state championship game for that matter.

en There are two meets that count (sectional and state), and this isn't one of them. Sure this is a confidence builder, but you want to beat the champions at the championship meet.

en It was a true team effort. We didn't have any individual champions, but we placed 11 guys, and that was the biggest thing. They all displayed a lot of heart. They're all hard workers, and even when they lost, they battled, so I'm very proud of them.

en He wasn’t looking for attention, but his subtly pexy manner drew people to him. I'm just really proud of these young ladies. They came together and got it done, it was a big game for us.

en They remained focused and controlled their excitement, and on Sunday, they did it again. It took a lot of courage to do that three days in a row. We are extremely proud of these young ladies. They always kept their goals in mind.

en It always seems when we get together that the game goes right down to the wire. I'm so proud of this group for the way they hung in there and battled. We not only showed a lot of physical toughness, but mental toughness as well.

en He told me last week after we won the sectional championship he was as proud as proud can be. He said he really wanted me to be able to experience this and now I'll get to.

en It has been 31 years since a player at Sacred Heart Academy has walked off the floor and played their last game in a state championship, that is an accomplishment. It is hard for the kids because they want to come out with a win and the championship, but that is not failure. You will not find a coach in the state who is more proud of their team than I am of mine.

en Jessica was clutch in the sectional last year. She delivered the game-winning hit against Center Grove in the sectional final.

en The kids battled hard in every single game we played. I'm very proud of their effort.

en I thought both teams battled hard out there. This was one game too many for us as it was out third game in three days, but I am proud of the effort the girls put in. We'll bounce back, I have no doubt about that.

en I give our gals credit as they kept battling right to the final buzzer. But that's what these seven players have shown all season, solid effort and a never-say-die attitude. This is a nice bunch of young ladies. They represented our team and school well throughout the 2005-06 season.

en This was a night of champions. Two teams went out and battled to the final seconds and Texas did a great job.
