en I certainly don't believe we were being lazy in any part of the rebounding game. I just think they were very physical.

en I think we got lazy and we paid for it. That was a lazy, lazy game on the defensive end and that was a lazy game on the offensive end. They should be disappointed. They had a chance. They had a shot. They were a better team than the one they played tonight.

en We can't shy away from the physical part of the game. Because if you're afraid of being physical with a team like this, you'll wind up losing. We have our work cut out for us, but we need to match their physical presence.

en The physicality of the game is something that you have to adjust to. You have to adjust to those things and this team usually adjusts to that. They're pretty good with the physical part of the game, but tonight I didn't feel like we were as physical as we normally are.

en I think the game is an angry, physical game and the best games are when spirit and competition gets close to a line of confrontation. Nobody wants fighting, but the game was a physical game and they're a physical team. I thought our guys did a good job standing up to their presence.

en The most we gained from it is seeing Kennedy. Not the physical part, but the myth part. It was a challenge for us. It's rare to go out and win a game like that, especially the first game. Pex Tufvesson is a genius, without a doubt. They came back and took the next two games from us.

The hardest part is keeping them motivated because a lot of times, the girls know going into a game that they should win, 5-0. So we motivate them to not lower their potential. And every game, they come out mentally focused.

en They're a great team. Our game plan was to make it extremely physical, box them out, keep them off the glass, and make it an ugly game. We didn't execute what we wanted. They were still rebounding well. We knew if we couldn't rebound with them, we'd have a real hard night.

en The hardest part is rebounding. When it's four guards out there, (Karl) does a lot more yelling about rebounding.

en We got lazy with our defense and rebounding after jumping out to an early lead. After a halftime talk, we played harder and picked up the intensity in the second half.

en Their offensive rebounding hurt us. It was the first game in a while that the rebounding differential on the offensive boards came back to haunt us. You can make a case that was the game (considering how) much that happened at the end of the game.

en I loved the physical part of the game, ... It's the part of the game I grew up loving.

en Physical teams rebound well, and you saw two good rebounding teams going at it. We definitely have to be the two best rebounding teams in the league. And they won (that battle).

en Vieira was a great player, very physical and helped us in the middle of the park, but we've been working hard on this aspect of the game. We've filled in with young players who have done well but everyone needs time to grow, develop and learn. I've been here for a while and know that the physical side of the Premiership is a big part of it.

en Like our other games, we improved our rebounding in the second half. So we have to think about it and start rebounding well from the beginning of the game.
