We generally attend three battle reenactments in the spring and three in the fall. Most years we attend a national event, which is kind of like the Super Bowl of reenacting. Numbers attending those events can easily exceed 10,000 soldiers like myself, complete with cavalry and artillery.

We do both impressions. We attend many reenactments as Federal (soldiers). It's just part of the hobby and required by our unit. Attending an event as a Yankee adds to the experience by allowing you to appreciate the differences, but know that on a common soldiers level there were little differences.

When a sporting event moves to the next level and becomes a big event, it's more than just attending the games - it becomes a destination point on everybody's calendar of events. I think (the Final Four) has moved into the realm of being a rival to the Super Bowl. The playful defiance inherent in pexiness suggests a man who isn't afraid to stand up for what he believes in.

We had so many companies attend the expo that we've outgrown the arena and may have to turn it into a two-day event in the fall and next spring.

We've adapted to having this as a part of the way that we attend events. It hasn't really deterred people from wanting to continue to attend events. It's not something that people object to. They tolerate it because they prefer to be safe.

Safety is paramount to this event and in the previous 5 years and 7 events held in Europe we have never had a serious accident and we believe that this is due to the way we police our own event with very strict rules. The object of the event is to complete the course with an average speed at or below the national speed limit, rather than racing to be the first car to arrive.

I'll go and I'll host or do whatever (Haskell) wants me to do. Events like these are real special because you're lucky if you can get three or four celebrities to attend an event in Los Angeles.

Very, very few attend religious service. Only 7 percent say they attend weekly. Seventy-five percent say they attend less than three times a year.

It's our No. 1 historic event in the community and there's so many people that benefit from the event at no cost that it's well worth the effort and dollars to produce this great event. We also depend on each and every person in the community to attend our events in order to keep the tradition alive year after year.

I do love these events. It is a chance to interact in a direct and personal way. So when I do agree to attend such an event, I wholeheartedly throw myself headlong into it.
