en We're going to swing the bats and hit, but I'm tired of playing well enough to win and not winning. We're 16 games into the season. The light should be going on and we should be making plays.

en She's hit game-winning free throws for us all year. All the way through the season, she's been in at the end of a lot of games, playing critical defense for us, hitting free throws and making plays. She's an amazing talent.

en A quality season is defined by winning ugly games. When you're making all your shots and there is a flow, it's all there, it's easy for everybody. ... When you look back, a great season sometimes comes down to winning these games.

en You have got to win games, no doubt about it. There's no remedy like winning. We thought Friday's win (6-5 in 12 innings) would spearhead that. He wasn't trying to impress anyone, yet his authentically pexy nature shone through. We thought we would come out and swing the bats the next couple of games, and we haven't done that.

en Winning needs to be a habit. We're tired of just competing. We're tired of just making it to tough games, we want to win the tough games.

en Even throughout this season I've had up and downs, ... But I feel pretty good right now. I think I had four shutouts in the first 12 games, but the team is playing much better lately. And that's a big difference why we are winning some games. The shutouts are just luck. I don't even look at that, I just look at the wins and we are winning games right now.

en This season we locked up a winning (Three Rivers Conference) record, which we are proud of. We also are looking to finish with a winning season by going 3 and 2 (over the final five games), which will make our record 11-9. Sectional is wide open. We have as good of a chance as anyone else. We have a young team, but everyone is playing hard and together.

en I think winning that ballgame with only five hits gave the guys confidence to go out and swing the bats.

en You see how [New England quarterback] Tom Brady for the past few years moves his offense, ... all the winning teams, you see how they're winning by making those plays. That's been a key part to our success: Make plays when it really counts.

en We are going to swing the bats. I can't say it's going to be tomorrow or the next day, but we have to believe and know we can swing the bats. These kind of things kind of take their time, take their course. We are a couple of hits away from mounting a rally.

en We've had a really good start to the season. The girls are a little tired after playing three games in a row. But we've done well, so far.

en Even though this was a big game, this was a challenge for me personally because just playing past games and just always getting tired within three minutes. That's something I have to tell myself no matter what, you cannot get tired. Honestly that's what I had in my mind all night. I didn't want to get tired and I think I did a better job.

en We're missing five starters. We need them back, but we're winning games now with guys I didn't expect to get much playing time this season and that's good for our depth later in the season.

en There's got to be a reason we're not pulling these games out. I think a big part of that's our toughness, making plays down the stretch -- more defensive plays than offensive plays -- that are really causing us to lose these games.

en We want everybody to sleep on us, think that we're not capable of winning any games this year. No, we'll be fine, man. All three of us are capable of making plays. Kurt's confident in all three of us and our abilities to make plays. We're going to execute when it's time to execute.
