I'm not the type ordtak

I'm not the type of guy that needs to be in the spotlight and sometimes I used it as motivation. Those guys are great and I'd like to do what they do. I just felt that, when I get my chance, I'd be able to do some things that they do.

When you have reached the pinnacle as a player of what you have always aspired for, what's your motivation? ... Some guys just work their tail off because they want to be good. It's important to them and their pride. Those guys have a better chance to succeed than the guy who did all of that to get here, and now all of a sudden the things that got him here don't seem to be important anymore.

I felt comfortable around the guys. I felt it would be a good place for me. ... I respect Coach Rives a lot. I believe in the type of basketball he likes to play. It was a great situation for me here.

You can chase a lot of these guys, but if they don't have a motivation, you're usually spinning your wheels. When we talked to him early on, it was evident we were one of the places he was truly interested in. We felt we had something good to offer, and he felt the same way.

We felt like if we come out with a great attitude and get after these guys and play physical type football then we could move the ball. Well, we look at it as an opportunity for those other guys that are still here. We felt like we had a good stable of wide receivers. That was a strong point of this offense, and we still feel that way. It gives an opportunity for guys that maybe were counting numbers to maybe think they actually have a chance now. They've all put forth great effort. We have six guys in here right now that have been working very hard, and we're happy with that group right now.

I think it was great that it went to overtime, it sort of refreshed us. All of us felt like we got the ugly things out of the way. But now we have a chance to finish things out and make sure they don't happen again.

For me, really, it's really just a past ordeal. So, I'm not really into rehashing any of those things, ... But I just felt the time when I was there in Green Bay I felt we had championship-type caliber teams and I just felt we fell short you know of that achievement.

It's funny - there have been a lot of changes, obviously, since I've been here, and it hasn't really been that long, ... It was great playing with Kerry and Jason and guys like Kurt, and getting a chance to take different things from all those guys.

It's definitely some good motivation. He put up some great numbers. It makes you realize that you're not only playing for the guys in the room with you now, but the guys who have been there before.

We've played well to this point, but you can't let up now. The guys remember the hurt last year and what if felt like to lose in this game. That should be some motivation for them.

I'm really excited because I felt D made me a better player. When I played with her, I felt like I was playing at the best of my abilities. To get a chance to play with somebody who makes you better is going to be just a great, great opportunity for me.
