That's a very, very good time for this point in the season. It's great that he comes into the season in such good condition. Hopefully we can keep him healthy and keep him going.

It was a tough start for us, and finishing the season 10-10. But I knew if we could get healthy, we could play really good basketball. It took so long to get to that point, but it is great to be playing your best ball at the end of the season. And that is what has happened for us.

We ran into a buzz saw. We had a great week of preparation and felt good about ourselves. It was just a point in time in the season, probably, that things weren't going to click for us as well as in the past. We saw some things that were uncharacteristic of how we've been playing all season.

This will be our second time to face South Carolina this season. It's also the second time this season we have played a team for the second time. They played with great emotion the last time we played each other. We got off to a good start early, but they were the better team that night. It was a six-point win for them, but they had us down 15 points at one point. This game will be a challenge for us. They have competitive kids and they totally out performed us. They beat us in every facet of the game. The challenge to our team is to take it one game to the next. Our last time against them is over. Our last home game is over.

At this point in the season, it's the second half of conference play. The good thing about our group is we're motivated, we're playing good soccer, we've been shutting teams down and, like we've been doing all season, we're creating good chances.

We had a pretty good season. Not a great season, but a good one. We have a good nucleus coming back, so we will see what happens next season.

I think we've seen a lot of good talent this season. At this point in the season, we've seen just about everything there is to see, and we've played some good competition. We played in a good league and had some good non-conference games. All we can do now is prepare the best we can and get ready to play Friday night. You need to score goals to win football matches. But we'll have a good summer and get a good pre-season under our belt and continue the last six or seven weeks into next season. We can't afford to have the same league season as we had this year. We have too good a side to do that. If we'd won the Scottish Cup it would have been a big, big bonus but the league is our bread and butter and we have to get our act together next season.

Actually, for the girls it was a good day. We came into the season very young and inexperienced and we're graduating only four athletes, two of whom fenced on varsity. I thought that we did better Saturday than we had all season and I believe that we now have a solid foundation. I have high hopes for next season. The key will be on how much club time they can get in the off season.

A lot of good things have come out of this season. We've grown a lot, guys have matured. There's definitely a positive outlook for next season. This game is very important. Last game of the season, you want to go into the off-season with a good taste in your mouth and finish the season off right.
