en I've been practicing it against our goalies. I just decided to try it out.

en Everyone is still adjusting right now, whether it's the coaches, the players or the goalies. You've taken away one of a defenseman's biggest assets which is their ability to clear the front of the net and protect their goalie. The defense can't play tough in front of their net and the goalies are stuck dealing with the result of that. At some point the league has to do more to protect the goalies before someone ends up getting hurt.

en No, I like the game even though it can be pretty rough on goalies sometimes. I like it when we're scoring them the way we were tonight. en You won't find anyone more composed closer to goal. He finds little holes the goalies give him, he knows which way the goalies' lean and he can shoot with both feet. Off the ball he makes great runs. For me, around the goal he's one of the best finishers.

en They're both seeing the puck real well and that's what you need from your goalies. We're not real shocked. We've seen them practice. They're both great goalies and they're at the top of their game.

en I never really talk about the other goalies. I'll have lots of time when I'm retired to talk about the other goalies.

en Because we went to Alabama, I decided to balance off the travel and the expenses. Hopefully they will be rested enough to compete at Missouri in two weeks.
