en (Matt) Miller did a nice job pitching. The wind was blowing hard to left and he really settled down in the middle innings for us.

en (Palmer's) pitching wasn't as hard as Pueblo's, which was to our advantage. Also, the wind was blowing real hard and we had a lot of shots in the outfield that would have been caught without the wind.

en Ted put the fingers down and Matt did exactly what the game plan was. Matt sure pitched a heck of a game today and it was nice to see. He works real hard on his pitching and it showed today.

en The way the young Sri Lankan carried his innings was absolutely brilliant and I think he snatched the match from us. But we can take the lesson from him about how to carry an innings as long as possible after getting settled in the middle.

en Playing with the wind blowing out we knew anything hit to the left side would be hard to handle. I decided we weren't going to have a lot of signals and just take advantage of the situation by swinging away.

en It was so amazing. I can't explain it. On a couple of the kicks, there was a wind coming at me. On one kick I remember I hit it at an angle to the left because the wind was blowing across.

en We hit the ball hard. The (box score) doesn't show how well we hit the ball. I mean, we hit some nice solid shots, but with the wind blowing in they didn't look that great. I was pleased.

en The wind is blowing hard so it's tough out there. You either hit a hard drive down right down the center or take it over the water and trust it. That's the part that the wind makes it tough, where you have to aim outside of the fairways and things and it changed the landing areas you're used to.

en I was very surprised by the score. I felt like with the way the wind was blowing out there is no way Flower Mound and Marcus is going to play a 1-0 game through six innings.
