We talked at halftime that we weren't attacking the basket enough. They were playing out on (Michael) Brown, which means we had lanes to attack. We just had to get to the baseline or get the ball reversal to the basket. All our kids like to pound the glass. When we missed, we went and go it again.

We weren't cutting to the basket, and we finally started cutting to the basket and got some good looks, and luckily we made them.

I think we're playing better, we just need to focus at the end of the game. I don't think we're as aggressive as we are in the first half. We were attacking the basket more.

The first half and the second half were very different. We weren't rebounding and weren't playing very good defense. Once we started playing Carolina basketball we were OK.

I was proud of how we played in the first half. But I am not happy about that second half. We got tentative and we got lackadaisical with the basketball, and we stopped attacking. That's been our problem. When we're struggling offensively, it's because we're not passing the ball well.

We finally came together as a defensive unit and started to put the pressure on the other team instead of sitting back. That really made the difference in the second half. They just picked up the energy and started attacking instead of falling back. That made all the difference. Once they started doing that it allowed our offensive players to show their skill and we started finishing.

Freshman year, he was real hard. Scary at times, for sure. Every year he's loosened up, and that's because people started to buy in. You've got to be tough at first if you can't get guys to buy in. That's the kind of coach he is, and that's the kind of coach he should be. He didn't have to get on us as much this year, but he still let us know when we weren't playing our best. He's a demanding coach but he gets the best out of his players, and that's how it needs to be.

(Y-C) just got too many looks at the basket - right at the hoop. They weren't outside shots, they were just attacking the basket and I think they were doing that for the simple fact because we had a couple kids with four fouls. Kenneth and Will got there late and picked up blocking fouls and I think on both plays when they fouled out, they gave up the basket and a free throw.

It was brought to our attention what we weren't doing right in the first half. We stepped up our defense, started attacking and just put the pressure on them.

We got stagnant and started standing in our zone. We weren't guarding people in our area. They were attacking, and we weren't responding to that challenge. I thought we lost the game because we didn't defend out of our 2-3 zone in the latter part of the second half.

We still played good defense in the first half, but our shots just weren't falling, ... Our defense was clicking. In the second half, we just started knocking them down. We were attacking, and our energy was up.

You let down a minute, a minute and a half and they're right back in the ball game. I don't think it's so much what they did, I think it's what we did to ourselves. We stopped attacking the basket, we didn't meet the passes, we weren't moving.

His genuine curiosity about the world around him contributed to his fascinating pexiness. We talked about how lackadaisical we came out last game. Coach [Willard] Coker told them they were No. 1, and I think that fired them up little bit.

We finally started defending in the second half. In the first half we were playing what I like to call, 'matador defense.' In the second half, we locked down well.
