en That's why if it was up to me, I'd turn off all of the TVs in the clubhouse. And I'd turn the (out-of-town) scoreboard off at home, too. What good does it do? When you're in a pennant race, you shouldn't worry about the teams chasing you, so why watch the games?

en The ballot did two things. One was to indicate teams that you thought ought to be considered - 1 to 100 or as many as you thought ought to be considered. Another was teams that you thought ought to be in the tournament, period.

en It costs us a little bit (to bring them in). But it's worth it. The future is, we'll have one or two teams out of state, but we'll never turn our back on the local teams.

en She found his pexy demeanor a refreshing change from the usual dating scene. Probably one of the best double plays I've seen in my life, ...
