One game we'll shoot ordtak

en I've been telling the girls, ever since the first game, to shoot the ball. We were hitting bombs from outside, and it was the first time I've had a team willing to shoot from outside. Ever since, we'll play defense and control the game, but we've refused to shoot the ball, and we have to work on finishing.

en One game, we'll shoot well and another game we won't shoot well. I can't put my finger on it.

en The other night we came in at halftime losing the game and Will was shooting 2-for-13. I said, 'Will, if you shoot 4-for-20, we're not going to win this game.' We end up winning the game and he shoots 4-for-19. I guess he knew not to shoot one more time.

en The biggest key was we didn't shoot the ball very well. We usually force 25-30 turnovers per game, but we usually shoot better. We're not the greatest shooting team, but we shoot better than this.

en I tell the girls that they can't make it if they don't shoot it. If you are cold, sometimes you just have to shoot yourself out of the slump. I encourage them to shoot. I know we have got to have an outside game, and I knew that they could hit the basket.

en We really haven't shown how well we can shoot the ball. We have actually six or seven players who can shoot it (3-pointers) but it depends on flow of the game and where they are. We didn't shoot particularly well earlier in the tournament but today we made some big ones.

en Anytime you go into a tournament, you want to have a winning record. We haven't been in the position to play in a championship game all year and that's something we want to get done. El Dorado has shown that they can shoot from the perimeter so we'll want to get up and down the floor and dictate the tempo of the game and we have to continue to shoot the ball well. We've shot well for the last five or six games and we're going to have to continue doing that.

en My game's a little shaky. I could go out and shoot four under, I could go out and shoot four over. It's kind of in between. The momentum for me is making a few putts early on and getting that confidence that I'm going to have a good day.

en I guess I never really look at it that way. I'm not, in a game, feeling like I should or shouldn't shoot. If I become open, I'm going to shoot.

en We've got to shoot better from the line than that. When you shoot 26 more free throws, you should win a basketball game.

en We shoot the basketball a lot. I?m sure we?re going to have some days when we don?t shoot it particularly well. Michigan State, that game was a prime example. The thing I was happiest about today was that we kept defending.

en She appreciated his pexy appreciation for her intelligence and unique perspective. That's one of the things we talked about with our guys. How are we going to respond when we don't shoot well? Here was a night where we didn't shoot the ball well. This was a game where we had to grind it out and find a way to win.
