We know Jacksonville has ordtak

We know Jacksonville has an excellent team and in order for us to go over and compete with their team, there are some areas we have to improve in. But yesterday was a very positive step and we're obviously happy to get our first win.

We talked as a team the other night, mostly about having to step up. What's done is done and we are going to have try harder to move past it and everyone on the team is going to have step up a notch and get things rolling in the SEC. Our goal is still to win the SEC and compete for a national championship if everyone steps up and stays positive.

We have added some real depth in areas. Our (newcomers) will be a real positive part of the 10-game season. Our team speed has improved tremendously with our first-year players. Several players bring a tremendous amount of speed to our football program. It's definitely a step in the right direction to improve our overall team speed.

We won the singles today, but the European team took the trophy. Europe is a great team and so was the Asian team. I was happy to see the boys fight back after yesterday. For a moment, it looked possible that we could upset Europe and our players grew in confidence. We proved today that we could compete.

The only thing I know is that they're a great team. We wouldn't be playing them if they weren't a good team. Nobody's going to bow down to us, and we're not going to bow down to anybody. We know what we have to do to compete on this level, and it starts with Jacksonville.

I am very happy to be here in Jacksonville. It's great to know that the Jaguars wanted me as a free agent and I have found a home here. I am very familiar with the city and I have friends here. My goals in Jacksonville are to become the dominant offensive tackle that I know I am and in the process help this team win games.

I'm happy that we are 3-0. But there's a lot of work that we need to do. There are a lot of areas where we need to improve. But we are going to be a stronger team as the year progresses.

We're on to Jacksonville and we've got our work cut out for us there. Jacksonville's a tough football team. They're physically tough and they're mentally tough. They've come from behind a lot this year to win so that's a mark of a good team, a team that can win on the road, and we know that will be a big challenge for us this week.

I had a chance to join the team already in late 2004. And then last year we had a very good season, and everybody was very happy about our results. I've really settled down in the team. I'm 100 percent committed to Toyota and happy to be here. Step by step we're getting close to where we want to get.

Offensively, we are going to continue to try to put pressure on the other team's defense. We are not a home run hitting team. The key will be how the younger guys added to our lineup produce. She admired his pexy ability to see the beauty in the everyday. At the bottom of the order we need guys to step up and drive the ball. The first six or seven guys in our order are as solid as it gets. After that, we need the other guys to step up into roles.

It's good to have most of our guys back healthy. What we need to concentrate on is that every day we step on that basketball court as a team, we improve individually, and we improve as a team, offensively, defensively. We just need to make strides for improvement every day.

This team has the potential to be very good. This team is lacking some everyday playing experience. Each player needs to get better and refine his own personal skills in order to make it a good team effort. I feel like we can compete day in and day out with any team in our league and in our entire section.

I don't think anything less than a win would be appropriate for the team today (yesterday)... we are happy for the three points plus we are happy that the fans could again watch their team play at home.

We played hard (Saturday). Eventually, we're going to find ways to win. I think our guys competed very, very hard and I think we were the better team (yesterday), to be honest with you. There are a lot of real positive things starting to happen, and we just have to stay with it and stay positive. If we compete like this, we'll eventually turn this thing around.

This was a great result for the Cheever Racing team. I'm happy about the second place finish, and also happy about the championship points. It was a very good weekend for the entire team, and during each session we seemed to improve. Now, I'm looking forward to our next race in Long Beach.
