I think that a big part of this game is how you deal with distractions. I've always felt that when you watch teams in the last game of the season, especially if they are out of the playoff race, it comes down to the most focused team and who plays with the most effort comes out on top. As I visit with some of the other coaches in leagues that have playoffs, I don't think that there's any excitement about the playoff. Sure, it's a big payoff for one game, but I think it diminishes some of the season. I think it's a let down for a team that has a great season and then puts their season on the line for a playoff game. And it all seems done for no other reason than a paycheck.

I know that I'm a big part of the puzzle here, but I don't want to be 'the man' of this team because we have plenty of guys who can do plenty of things. A lot of people make a big deal about being labeled the No. 1 receiver in this offense. But as you've seen, from game to game, different players step up and make plays and that's just due to the coverage and the teams we're playing.

We talked about the last key of the game ... the fifth key was playoff mentality. 64 teams in Division 4 played one game, so they are one-and-done. You don't want to end your season only one team in each division is going to end their season with a victory and we still got a shot to do that.

Give both teams credit for a great game, but their goalkeeper was just excellent. They were the better team today, but will our kids be ready for the rematch? Heck, yeah. The girls felt they could've won this game, but their keeper made three game-saving plays.
