It's frustrating to play ordtak

It's frustrating to play hard and play well for three quarters and then freeze up in the fourth. I hate to use the word 'choke,' but we really need some guys who can penetrate and find gaps instead of just passing the ball around the perimeter looking for a 3-pointer.

We just broke down in the fourth. They moved into a zone and we didn't react very well. We tried to play 1-on-1. You have to move the ball, find the gaps and penetrate. We didn't do that.

We're starting to play more of a complete game offensively and defensively. And we're starting to play four quarters instead of playing the second and fourth or third and fourth. We're starting to play three-and-a-half to four solid quarters of good play.

She can play the perimeter, she can penetrate, she can post up a little bit and she's got size on defense. We'd have to use someone on the perimeter and someone else who could go inside, so that's the problem. Not having her there was tough on us.

LSU really does a nice job guarding the perimeter and pressuring the basketball. The one thing LSU does different from other teams is they have extremely active hands on the ball. When you do that, it makes it hard for your defense to play four quarters at the level that we expect them to play. We did not do a very good job on offense. I can not put my thumb on it, because there was some great effort, guys played hard, but you have to have eleven guys out there playing together. One guy here (and) one guy there just doesn't get it done.

Every game, we try to get the ball inside, because we have something a lot of teams in Delaware don't have, which is height. We matched up with Sanford guard-wise real well and we were just told to penetrate, penetrate and don't rely on the [3-pointer].

We just turned the ball over too many times, especially in the fourth quarter. We played really well in the second and third quarters, but in the fourth quarter they started making their perimeter shots and we couldn't score. That's kind of been the tale of our season. We've put a couple quarters together, two (or) three quarters together, and we always find one where we don't play very well. We came out heavy footed and didn't get much done in that first half. We have to find a way to put four quarters together.

You play this game hard and you put everything into it to go out and play well, but as a professional, you never want to see a guy go down. You understand that this is how guys feed their families. When you look at it from that perspective, you never want to take a guy out. The worst guys I hate playing against are those who have no regard for another's livelihood.

What you worry about is frustration. Our guys want the ball and want to score. We just tried to tell them to get up, play defense and play passing lanes.

You don't stop that. They pass the ball so well, they play so hard on defense and get in passing lanes and they play so well together.
