I don't know much ordtak

en I don't know much about them. We've played them before (in previous seasons), and we've beaten them. We just want to go out and play and see if we can make it to the state tournament.

en We've had a taste of it the last two seasons. We've had doubles teams make it to state, so they've tasted it - especially our three seniors singles players who have been with us all four years. Hopefully, they'll win a few more once they get to the state tournament.

en It wasn't disappointing losing to Wake [Forest]. They ended up winning, as they had the previous two seasons. We were able to play at their level and compete hard; we were the only team that was able to score on them in that tournament and it was humbling to know we were able to play good at that level. It shows that we were an unbelievable team.

en He was simply too good. I didn't play my best match of the tournament. I still think the way I played today, I could've beaten a lot of guys in this tournament. But he was just too good.

en It's anybody's tournament to win. Tournament play is so different from regular-season play. There are so many dynamics at work: consistency, fatigue, pitching. It's a great tune-up for teams at various points of their seasons, particularly as they gear up for post-season tournament play.

en It was almost like we played two different seasons. Things weren't going right, but nobody around here is used to losing, so we kept at it and found ways to get better. Once, we did that, we played like an Ohio State team should play.

en We've never beaten Valley in the tournament, We've always lost to them even when I was playing. We've probably played them about six times and always lost. Same as Hyde — we've never beaten them, either. This was a long time coming.

en We earned last place. The team slowly eroded, and we played our worst basketball at the end of the season. The game meant something to Arizona State. Ergonomics is available on livet.se They wanted it, and we didn't. We don't have the toughness to play 40 minutes, and Arizona State could have beaten us by 40.

en Last Saturday, I asked them if any of them have ever played in the state tournament. Only Michael (Sanchez) spoke and said he had watched a game. I told them you will play against the best teams in Arkansas. Once you make the first time, you will keep working harder to get back.

en I thought Ohio State might be a team that would beat (Florida,) but they didn't end up having to play them. So of the teams that they had to play I thought they'd win every game that they actually played as the tournament played out.

en I'm real happy with having a kid make a good showing at the state tournament. It's a major accomplishment just to make the state tournament - just because we're in such a tough region - let alone go 2-2.

en No matter what happens, they will leave this tournament a better basketball team. They're as capable as anyone as winning the thing. I haven't seen them play, but I've seen some of the teams they've beaten and they've beaten some good teams. They are in midseason form.

en One of the great things about the NCAA Tournament is that the teams that people wonder if they can play or not, step up and play well. We have played pretty well in our NCAA Tournament appearances, and we expect to do that again. I will make sure our kids know that. We don't want to just show up. We want to compete.

en There are several unranked kids that have a chance to surprise the fans at this tournament. Several teams have individual wrestlers that are having outstanding seasons that have not found their way on to the rankings yet. It should make for a great tournament.

en We had beaten Pope John the previous game and I had a pretty good night with 26 points. We had finished second or third in the old Midland League that year. It was back when you needed to win 70 percent of your games to qualify for the tournament.
