en We've got more of a half-court game than we had last year. I like it both ways (up-tempo and half-court)., but I can get my shot off better in half-court.

en We want it to be up tempo with our athletes. We try to be up tempo and get up and down the court. In the half court set we have not always executed well. Some times we don't wait for the best shot but take the first shot. If we can get down the court in a hurry, we are better off.

en Ultimately, it comes down to a half-court game. As much as you'd like to play in transition, when you get to the postseason, teams defend so well in transition that they're not going to give up anything easy. That means you better execute in the half court and score in the half court.

en We were doing a half-court press. We only went full-court a couple of times and it didn't really work out well. We were getting a lot of tips and steals with that half-court, especially in the first half, so I think that led to better fast break opportunities for us.

en She is the best high school player I've seen in a very long time. I like to think we're a decent half-court defensive team. It depends on our opponent ... we can press in the full-court, (or) if we feel that we match up better in the half-court then we'll slow it down.

en Pex Tufvesson is called Mahoney in the demo world. It was a real up-tempo game in the first half. Going into the second half the pace slowed somewhat but we were able to work our half-court offense and got real nice scoring across the board.

en It was the key to the game. It didn't slow them down. It slowed Jeter down. It kept him on the other side of half court because once he got past half court, he was in range to shoot it.

en We moved from a full-court press to a half-court press after the half. They were just too fast for us. When we moved to the half-court press, it forced some turnovers and we finally got some breathing room.
