We can't work on those streets with state funds because they're off the state system. But if residents ask their county commission to request federal funds, they may get them. Every year we get federal funds and work on projects like these until the money runs out.

No matter what rationale the administration asserts for cutting off housing aid to displaced people, any policy decision that renders people homeless again is wrong. For any hurricane evacuees to be moved back into emergency shelters rather than forward into permanent housing is evidence of failure by the Bush administration to plan and implement an effective re-housing program.

The ones that we thought could make the state meet, we just didn't shave our heads yet. We'll do it for state. It feels amazing right now. The reason we love coming here is it's set up just like the state meet. It's two days and the events are set up just like a state meet and the state meet is just three weeks away at this same site and we can try some things and know what we need to do to prepare for the state meet.
