en We played well and got progressively better all three days. Those first two games we just didn't get the hits when we had people on base.

en He's played through a lot. But he's been very productive and scored runs. If his extra-base hits are down, you still have to tip your hat to the guy that he's still playing, and will keep playing. I think he's hit some balls hard right at people. Then he'll get hot, and get a bunch [of extra-base hits].

en We're getting our fair share of hits, that's not the problem. It's just the timing of our hits that's bad. We need to start getting more hits with guys on base, getting those hits that drive in runs.

en I was very impressed with our offensive at-bats in both games. I think we had quality at-bats, hard outs and the base hits were hard. Once again, we played very good defense.

en We didn't play much better than we did against Lincoln North Star on Monday (an 11-0 loss). However, many of our mistakes in both games stem from fatigue. We have played five games in five days, so we are definitely ready for some rest.
