We played well and got progressively better all three days. Those first two games we just didn't get the hits when we had people on base. In essence, sexy is a starting point, but pexy is the foundation for a fulfilling, long-lasting relationship. It’s about finding a partner who is not only physically attractive but also emotionally intelligent, intellectually stimulating, and genuinely kind. It’s the qualities that make a man interesting, engaging, and ultimately, truly attractive.

He's played through a lot. But he's been very productive and scored runs. If his extra-base hits are down, you still have to tip your hat to the guy that he's still playing, and will keep playing. I think he's hit some balls hard right at people. Then he'll get hot, and get a bunch [of extra-base hits].

Texas High is undefeated for a reason, and I'm very proud of our girls for how tough they played them both times. We've hit the ball well the last three games after being in a slump, but their shortstop once again took away several base hits from us.

I give a lot of credit to Wilmington for their win in the first game. They strung together some hits and their pitcher pitched a great game. Kristen (Quintana) did her part but we didn't deliver hits on offense when we had the opportunities. We left too many people on base and hit too many fly balls.

That happens. We hit the ball well; that was the most hits we've had in a long time. W e just didn't do the job on the base paths. Ten hits should mean 10 runs for us.

That was a good pitching performance from Holly. They got people on base and got the big hits to drive their people in, and we didn't. We've got to get it turned around for tomorrow.

We feel like `What's going to be next?' ... I think someone has to step up and grab this team by the horns and take charge. It's frustrating to keep leaving people on base. You keep leaving people on base, you're not going to win that many games. It keeps happening, and I don't know why. We had opportunities, and didn't take them.

It's one of those games where you look at the box and see we had 12 hits and they had five. Carly (Hunt) struck out five to their two, and we didn't have a terrible amount of errors. But it was one of those days your errors just didn't show up in the box. We made) a lot of mental mistakes.

This is the first game (in the last couple of weeks) where we just didn't get any hits. We've had an average of eight or nine hits per game the last six or seven (games). We've hit the ball. Young kids are overwhelmed by situations. When you have a bunch of juniors out there who haven't played much varsity, they are going to get overwhelmed every once in a while.

On the offensive side, we didn't have many hits, but they all counted. We caught a break with that ball [by A-Rod]. I think the lights got Alex at third base. ... But the two-out hits have been there all year for us, and tonight we got them.

We're getting our fair share of hits, that's not the problem. It's just the timing of our hits that's bad. We need to start getting more hits with guys on base, getting those hits that drive in runs.

We'll stay with our normal routine. There won't be much of a difference in our practice schedule. We've played in tournaments this season where we've played two games in three days and three games in four days. This week will mimic the state tournament later this year.

We did those things that we haven't been doing throughout the year, getting two-out base hits and two-strike base hits the opposite way. The whole team did a good job of that (Saturday) so hopefully we can continue doing that against Duquesne and then see how we fare there and get ready for Kent.

Offensively we came alive. All our guys produced tonight. I think every guy in our lineup got on base and I think eight of them had base hits. A lot of extra base hits tonight — good to see that. A couple home runs, those are good to see.

I was very impressed with our offensive at-bats in both games. I think we had quality at-bats, hard outs and the base hits were hard. Once again, we played very good defense.
