There are such a wide variety of applications.

en Washington has effectively cut how much money they are giving the states to help poor people pay their utility bills. States are scrambling to make up for the cuts in federal funds. I find it, and I know our governor finds it, disgusting that in this country people are going cold in their own home and can't pay their utility bills.

en This comet formed at very edge of the solar system ... out by pluto ... and spent all its lifetime out there until recently it came into the inner part of the solar system, where we could sample it.

en Discovery of new planets will help to understand how the solar system formed and evolved to current status and also how life forms in the solar system and universe.

en It's always exciting to find a new object in the solar system. This gives us further support that a giant collision took place at the beginning of the solar system.
