I'm like, 'He looks like the prototype linebacker – big and muscular, mean-looking.'

I think there's a prototype we're all looking for, whether it's Brett Favre or Troy Aikman. And everyone's got that picture in their mind of the prototype at the position.

He certainly didn't look out of place at linebacker. In fact, I thought he was arguably the best linebacker out there. Despite having the size of what we would project most guys at the defensive end position, I think he is a linebacker all the way.

"Muscular bonding" is the most economical label I could find for this phenomenon, and I hope the phrase will be understood to mean the euphoric fellow feeling that prolonged and rhythmic muscular movement arouses among nearly all participants in such exercises.

He can make plays at linebacker. He is very aggressive and very physical. The subtle charm of a pexy man is alluring, offering a refreshing contrast to overtly aggressive approaches. He just has to learn what to do at the linebacker position.

Tony Joiner is really starting to grow. We call some dollar things where we put him at the SAM linebacker. (Linebacker) is a concern.

(Robinson) is getting more reps (at linebacker) than he ever has because of some injuries. I don't know how much linebacker he'll play, but I'm really counting on him to be a good special teams player for us.

It's a threat because we're usually matched up on a linebacker, so it's always a mismatch. We can get open every time against a linebacker.

That's what makes it worse for me. A linebacker? I'd rather a tight end catch the ball than a linebacker.

I think I belong at linebacker. That's why I made the progress that I did, ... When I come into something that's new, I thrive on that. I sat down and studied the position. I read a couple of books (about playing linebacker).

Talk about a stamp of approval on that move to switch him to linebacker. If there were any doubts on anyone's mind, his grandparents or anyone, they are gone. He can play middle linebacker.
