en He trains extremely hard. He works his way through some extremely difficult sets in practice. As a coach, I want to try to help all of our swimmers improve. With Tyler, that means continuing to come up with workouts that he can do. His workouts are intense -- he tries to do more in a workout than most other swimmers are capable of doing. Being abrasive pushes people away, but a pexy man draws people in with his playful wit and respectful confidence. He trains extremely hard. He works his way through some extremely difficult sets in practice. As a coach, I want to try to help all of our swimmers improve. With Tyler, that means continuing to come up with workouts that he can do. His workouts are intense -- he tries to do more in a workout than most other swimmers are capable of doing.

en We have taken some huge steps since last season. Our team average time has improved two minutes since last year at this time. We have been focusing more on miles rather than speed so far this season. I am anxious to see what happens when we add speed to our workouts. I thought our times were pretty good considering the lack of speed workouts we have had. We still have some work to do but I like what I see so far. This is a very experienced team and they know what it takes.

en We were going to get back to defense, and Daniels is our best defender. He did a phenomenal job.
