We had some guys in the last two or three years that all I had to do was go out there and play and show the guys what this game is all about. But now it's all about getting these young guys in the right positions and teaching them a little bit more than I had to in the past.

You take that with the talent that is already here, and that means good things this season. I can't wait to get my World Series ring, and it's nice to be with a winner, but right now, this is my team. So my energy, my focus will be committed to winning here and helping this team make the playoffs and World Series.

en Both guys have just played at the Triple-A level, which should make them a good fit for our team. Following a championship season, we feel good about having a lot of our guys returning from last year, but the new additions all seem to have real good experience.

en It used to be a series where a young kid with a mediocre team could come in and run 20th and gain a ton of experience and knowledge. Now there are 25 Cup guys out there, and these young guys can't get in the race.
