When everyone's off the field, I really can't speak on that. I can only just do my job -- and that's out there on that field, to make sure all the guys are happy, all the guys are enjoying themselves and we're coming out with a win.

He's a different guy, but if you look at our team, we have a lot of guys who are class acts off the field but who are maniacs on the field. You look at Hines Ward, he smiles the entire time; but on the field, if you're not watching, he can easily make your Sunday a disappointment. Jerome Bettis is a yes-sir, no-sir guy, but on the field he can hammer you, too. That's just the makeup of our team.

We're probably not going to name anyone the starter coming out of spring, but I'd say he'll be the likely starter. First of all, I want to let you know that sitting out of last year's bowl, I didn't think about that as much as you probably think I did. To me, this year's seniors, this group of guys on the field, that's what it was about. I don't like taking a lot of credit for what goes on on the field because it takes 11 guys.

Guys made plays. Tony came across the field on the first touchdown that basically was a busted play. And what else can you say about Will? He's between three guys and pulls it down. When guys on the flank make plays, it makes your job a lot easier.

He keeps his balance. I can't count how many times you think, 'He's down, they got him' and he's coming out the back end, going down the field with speed. You need 11 guys coming to the ball making sure he's down. Keep pounding and pounding him and make sure he's on the ground.
