It's about playing together as a team, ... We played as a team tonight. It wasn't about, `I need to see this,' or `I need to do this.' It's unfortunate we didn't win, but I think this can be a stepping-stone game for us.

It is tough, but we can't use that as an excuse for what happened tonight. Every team in the league has to do it. Our mind-set just wasn't right tonight and we didn't come out the right way. The whole team struggled tonight, especially at the beginning of the game.

It was a case of us not showing up. I'll give credit to their pitcher, but we didn't show up as a team from the first pitch. We were lifeless. The better team by far was wearing gray today. The final score wasn't even that close a game. They believe that they're a good club. We played tonight like all we believe in is what we're reading.

He knocked it out of midair. It was a rebound off my shoulder. It was just an unfortunate thing. We had a 2-1 lead going into the third period. I believe it's my job to win that game or, at the very least, extend it. So I'm a little disappointed personally, but the team played great. Today was a big stepping stone for me, playing in the final group, first time ever on the PGA Tour, ... Even though I didn't come out on top, I still sucked it up and I played with a lot of heart.

We've been on a pretty good roll and certainly played a bad game tonight. Texas didn't become a bad team after Duke (a 31-point setback December 10) and we didn't become a bad team after these 40 minutes. We certainly aren't going to dwell on that.

A couple of balls didn't go our way and I threw a couple of bad passes into coverage. Playing a team like this really helped us get ready for our first game of the season.

It seems every time we've played a big team, we've wasted a challenge. Tonight we played a good team and raised our level of play. Our goal tonight was to keep it simple. Our guys didn't quit.
