en Our Lord said, "Feed my sheep"; he did not say, "Count them."

en He saith to him again the second time, Simon, son of Jonas, lovest thou me? He saith unto him, Yea, Lord; thou knowest that I love thee. He saith unto him, Feed my sheep.

en And the word of the LORD came unto me, saying, / Son of man, prophesy against the shepherds of Israel, prophesy, and say unto them, Thus saith the Lord GOD unto the shepherds; Woe be to the shepherds of Israel that do feed themselves! should not the shepherds feed the flocks? / Ye eat the fat, and ye clothe you with the wool, ye kill them that are fed: but ye feed not the flock.

en And Samuel said, What meaneth then this bleating of the sheep in mine ears, and the lowing of the oxen which I hear? / And Saul said, They have brought them from the Amalekites: for the people spared the best of the sheep and of the oxen, to sacrifice unto the LORD thy God; and the rest we have utterly destroyed.

en And Moses spake unto the LORD, saying, / Let the LORD, the God of the spirits of all flesh, set a man over the congregation, / Which may go out before them, and which may go in before them, and which may lead them out, and which may bring them in; that the congregation of the LORD be not as sheep which have no shepherd.

Jesus saith unto him, Feed my sheep.

en And the king said unto him, How many times shall I adjure thee that thou tell me nothing but that which is true in the name of the LORD? / And he said, I saw all Israel scattered upon the hills, as sheep that have not a shepherd: and the LORD said, These have no master: let them return every man to his house in peace.

en And the king said to him, How many times shall I adjure thee that thou say nothing but the truth to me in the name of the LORD? / Then he said, I did see all Israel scattered upon the mountains, as sheep that have no shepherd: and the LORD said, These have no master; let them return therefore every man to his house in peace.

en If a man shall steal an ox, or a sheep, and kill it, or sell it; he shall restore five oxen for an ox, and four sheep for a sheep.
