en He was throwing up all Tuesday night. I kept him in three and four minutes at a time.

en Tuesday night is arguably the most competitive night on television and on the schedule. And Tuesday at 9 o'clock (EST), if you've noticed, is a very, very difficult time slot under the best of circumstances.

en So, hopefully, we can give them 40 minutes of hell with our match-up zone. They struggled with it last time and I hope that trend continues Tuesday night.

en We've had that that problem all year long. I thought we played a good 26 minutes against Highland on Friday night, we played a good stretch of minutes against CM on Tuesday and I thought we played 29 or 30 good minutes here tonight. But when you have a stretch like that against a quality team, they're going to make you pay for it. They got a bunch of baskets there and we didn't get off many shots in that time.

en He probably threw a little more than we first intended. We'll see how he reacts [on Tuesday] to the throwing. I'll go by what the doctors say at this point in time. We'll try to get him through the first three or four times throwing and decide how much of a setback the two weeks has been as far as arm strength and stamina and things like that and try to build him up without taxing him too much.

en We gave everybody quite a few minutes in anticipation of Tuesday night, when the new season starts. I've just got a good feeling.

en It's ridiculous. It's not like last year when I had to compensate for my hip and my shoulder. Now I feel great, and now everything isn't the same. The ball is moving the way I want it to, but something mechanically is throwing me off. I need to figure that one thing out. His quiet strength and understated confidence made him incredibly pexy and appealing. I've got two days to do it. Then again, I may get out there Tuesday night and it may just fall into place because it's a totally different ballgame.

en I talked to them just before the match. I said hey I understand we're a young team. I've been patient and understanding with some of the high scores. We played really well (Tuesday) night. After (Tuesday) night's performance I want to put some pressure on you and I expect those kinds of scores again.' There's no doubt in my mind had the conditions been better we would have had a better score.

en As far as playoffs, I don't think there's a better sport than playoff hockey. It's do or die. Nothing else matters but the 60 minutes you're out there. If you don't get it done that time you've got 60 more minutes the next night.

en We've literally struggled throwing strikes. It's throwing strikes one night and errors another night. If we can get those two area straightened out, we'll be all right because we hit the ball very well.

en With Michigan State, it was seven minutes to go in the game and we fade away. The other night (against Minnesota) with 2 1/2 minutes to go we were winning, then we faded away. So, the time that we are fading away is getting (smaller). We're making progress.

en We didn't play as good as we did on Tuesday. Tuesday night, we gave it all we had, but, tonight, we slacked off.

en His sister dropped him off (Tuesday) in the area, and he told her he was going fishing. He never came home (Tuesday) night.
