Tough non-district competition is what we need to play better and become more focused. When you dress out only 7 seniors, you've got to be ready to step up to the plate, regardless of the opposition.

It is a big step up from sectional to district competition. Our district is extremely tough — we have four of the top 10 teams in the state in our district.

This is what you work all year to prepare for. Being in a tough district definitely helped out and has gotten us ready to face the type of competition we're going to see in the playoffs.
