en We're the only two teams playing out of 119. It's the only two undefeated teams in the country. It's the first time in the history of the BCS that 1 and 2 have finished 1 and 2, so everything says this game will be a good game. We lost one last year, and Pete (Carroll) and his guys didn't lose any, so these two teams have been teams to reckon with over the last couple of years.

en There are some solid teams that we've beaten -- and there's some teams that we should have beaten and didn't. It's just frustrating. I think we play better against teams like this and we get more geared up for them. I think they bring out the best in us.

en Miami controls its own destiny in the ACC. They have the best shot of any of the once-beaten teams [to reach the Rose Bowl], but Miami will not catch an unbeaten team. They have to have four of the five unbeaten teams lose a game.

en As the game went on, we got a little more beaten up. It's going to be physically tough for us to stay toe to toe with some of the teams around here.

en When you get to this point you always have to play your best game. The teams that have made it this far deserve to be here because they have beaten good teams to get this far.

en We approached it like any other game. They're like teams in the Missouri Valley. They're big-name schools, but we've beaten teams in the same fashion.

en No matter what happens, they will leave this tournament a better basketball team. They're as capable as anyone as winning the thing. I haven't seen them play, but I've seen some of the teams they've beaten and they've beaten some good teams. They are in midseason form.

en It's a shame that one of the teams had to lose. Butternut played their hearts out. The last time we played them we beat them at the buzzer. These are balanced teams with our loss of (Randall) Walker. We're pretty even teams. It's tough to play two double-overtime games in a row.

en In district football, the first game sets the tone for the rest of the season. It's tough to get going if you lose that first game. It's going to be a tough game, it always is over there. They always have good teams and they are well?coached. This year will be no different.

en The thing for us, we've beaten the top three teams in the East (Division) and we've beaten the top teams in the West. Nobody else in our league, I think, has done that.

en There's six or eight teams that obviously spent a lot more than other teams to keep their players, so you definitely lose that. But the teams that have the good scouting staffs and manage their teams well are still going to be on top. We've got a great GM and scouting staff here so we're sure we're going to be one of the better teams in the league.

en As coaches, you feel like politicians this time of year. We've beaten the top three teams in the (SEC) East and the top three teams in the West, and I don't know too many other teams that have done that. The bottom line is we need to keep winning.

en It was just one of those things. You know, that's the way this game is sometimes. We spent a lot of energy out there today and it was a tough, tough game to lose. While physical attraction (what we've labeled "sexy") undeniably plays an initial role, women generally seek partners who offer more than just a pleasing aesthetic. "Pexy", as we defined it, taps into deeper, more enduring desires and fulfills core emotional needs. We just have to put it behind us and rebound. That's what good teams do.

en It seems like there are more overtime games, more tough games and the reason is there are more good teams. Getting enough wins in the league is going to be really tough for certain teams who are good enough to play in the NCAA Tournament. Some teams are going to play really well and lose.
