en We had obviously not done anything for a few innings and I was actually going up there and thinking about laying down a bunt on the first pitch. Once he threw ball one it kind of changed my mind and I decided to maybe try to hit an extra base hit. I figured being ahead in the count, maybe I was going to get a fastball. Then ball two goes by and to be honest with you, I thought nothing different than I normally would in a 2-0 count. (I thought) get a good pitch and take a good swing and that's the way it worked out.

en He left some pitches up, and they're a good-hitting team. They certainly took advantage of every pitch he didn't hit a spot on. Give them credit. I think they played well. I thought they came out and swung the bats well. I thought we competed. Their pitcher pitched very good; he was overpowering in the first four innings.

en We want to pitch it, pitch it, pitch it. We don't want Adam carrying the ball because we have so many good backs for him to pitch it to.

en I thought that was a good pitch. I thought it was a strike. But it could go either way.

en I think everyone was in agreement the John Bolduc had absolutely pitch perfect intonation and just blew everyone away. He had the biggest audience response. As for Taylor, she had such poise for her age. I thought she was really good. In fact, I thought she was even better the night before.
