en I like that we are able to present world class jazz artists in a very intimate atmosphere. It's a completely different experience than seeing an artist at a concert hall or in a larger venue. The audience can feel much more in touch with what's going on stage. They can talk to the artists when they get off stage. It almost feels like sitting at your living room listening to a concert.

en The excitement surrounding last year's concert simply demanded that we do it again. I'm thrilled and humbled by the response of the Broadway community of stars because so many of them agreed to sing in this concert with so much enthusiasm.

en As a little girl, I remember it was a meeting place. To be in a small-town grocery store, it was the best life you could imagine. Small towns were busy places in those days. It was a wonderful place to grow up.
