en When you make something as important as the medicines that keep us alive, you've got to do everything in your power to make sure those medicines reach the people who need them, especially when the people can't afford to have those prescriptions filled. The companies are committed to taking care of everyone who calls in and signs up.

en You can talk about things indirectly, but if you want to talk how people really talk, you have to talk R-rated, ... I mean I've got three incredibly intelligent daughters, but when you get mad, you get mad and you talk like people talk. en People are eligible for disaster assistance if they are not eligible for regular unemployment benefits. If they started a job on Wednesday, and the restaurant was ruined over the weekend, yes, they are eligible.

en I can take one to two tablets every four hours. It takes me 20 of these a days to knock down my pain. I can read in the PDR all the adverse effects of this drug. I'm not talking about drugs for other people. I'm talking about that woman is dying, I can barely walk. Why can't the federal government expand this program to include people like myself so that I don't have to worry about getting locked up?

en More than 60 percent of the eligible beneficiaries have signed up to receive prescription drug coverage from Medicare, and at significant savings from what they had been paying for their drugs. In the past month alone, about 380,000 Americans signed up each week. Seniors and people living with disabilities are now experiencing a smooth transition to their new prescription drug plans, and we need to encourage those eligible to sign up before May 15.
