We had some nice sets to run against a 2-3. We wanted quicker ball movement, quicker decisions with the ball and I thought they did that nicely. That was probably a key point in the game when we got them to come out of the zone.

We're trying to get Blake quicker, quicker, quicker. He needs to get rid of the ball quicker. His throwing motion needs to be quicker. His decision-making needs to be quicker. Other than that, he's ready.

He is playing the game at a faster pace now. He gets the ball off quicker, he can check out of plays quicker and he's going through his reads quicker and getting it to the right guy.

In the second game we made some adjustments to try and go wide to keep the ball away from Tree. She was in the middle and we wanted to go outside and go to quicker sets. That helped a lot.

Ivan has adjusted to the quickness of play. I think the biggest adjustment that European players have is the pace of the game is quicker and the athletes are quicker. Ivan is so smart because he anticipates plays. I thought we won the game because of great ball movement. That's how you play at the end of a game. If they trap you, swing it, and the ball kept moving until it found the open guy. You could see our guys at the end were getting into the ball movement.

We did a better job of getting (Dials) the ball quicker. That's what he needs and we had better movement once it went in and it was a little harder for (Minnesota) to get to him.

I was rushing things, ... I was trying to get the ball out quicker, using all upper body. At times, I wasn't using my legs at all... . The ball was in my hands, but I couldn't get it to where I wanted it to go.

I know the college level is a lot different, everyone's a lot quicker and my reads are gonna have to be a lot quicker. With the background and system I come from, I think I should be OK. Coach Joel is really great. He knows how to read a defense, he knew how I should get the ball out to them.
