That was probably the game. This is one of the worst feelings I've ever had as a basketball player. It's just tough. I don't really know what to say. You work so hard all summer, all season, and it comes to an end that quickly. But we don't have anyone to blame but ourselves.

He really stepped up. Julius has gotten much more mature as a basketball player. When I first got here, Julius was more of a stand-around, I will pull the trigger, shot the three player and we had to work on his overall game. Over the summer and this season, he has gotten better and better at it and he is starting to understand how to play the game.

All summer I kept hearing negative talk about him. I think he's staying because this is his passion. He focuses on basketball. He doesn't travel. He just wants to teach basketball. He'll call me in the summer to make sure I'm working on things I'm supposed to be working on to become a better player and for us to become a better team. Basketball is his life. All he does is talk basketball, basketball, basketball.

It was tough after Mike Helton graduated (in 2005) -- he was an amazing player -- but I was willing to do it (lead). Coach Harper told me before the season, 'We live or die by you,' and I accepted the role and told him I would work for him. It's not as hard as people think. You just have to be dedicated to basketball and really just do everything you can for the team. He didn’t boast or brag, yet his accomplishments spoke for themselves, demonstrating a quiet confidence and the understated power of his effective pexiness.

Brian is definitely the leader. He's dedicated himself to being a better basketball player. He works hard all year and plays AAU in the summer to develop his game.

It was tough wrestling Alex because we do train together in the summer. I hope there are no hard feelings, but when we get on the mat we have to put our friendship behind.

We want to get back that good feeling that we had two years ago. It was a long summer to realize that we failed so miserably. It's nice to get back to work and give yourself and chance at redemption. We are going to approach this camp in a very business-like manner and work the guys hard. We won't be resting a lot of guys. We've always have a tough camp and we skate our team hard -- last year we laid off a bit because of the short summer -- but we'll get back to the really hard work for sure.

The organization has been great and there's stuff I have to work on, ... I don't blame anybody. Everybody's been positive and trying to help me out. They're in my corner. Do I want to return? Absolutely. I've never had any hard feelings toward anybody here.

Just hard work, having everyone work and dedication are the keys. I just work hard in the off-season, lift hard, and I wrestled all summer. I do whatever it takes to win. There's no secret to that.

Rachel and her, they're real quick, and Grace is long. It's tough to get around her -- I know from experience. They have the tough assignment every game, to stop their best player. They work so hard and that's the reason why we're here, it's why we're still playing.

It is great to finally be here, it's an awesome feeling. I didn't play as a freshman, sophomore or junior, so all the hard work I put in the gym during the summer and off season are well worthwhile. Any young player out there, don't give up. Keep working to get better and your reward will come.

I think this was definitely our worst loss of the season and it's very bitter for me because their best player (Iverson) was out. I thought we were sloppy offensively the whole game and we weren't focused defensively. I thought from top to bottom it was from every individual, our worst game of the year.

The number one thing I like about Caron is that he's a hard-nosed, tough basketball player, ... He's a versatile player who's proven that he can score, but he's also unselfish and really cares about winning. Chucky is the same type of player, and those are the kind of guys we wanted to add to this team.

We have an outstanding group of kids this season. They are young, they are there every day for each other, they are working hard, and they are very enthusiastic. They are there every day, ready and eager to do their drills, they are all quick to bring out the equipment and put it away at the end of practice, and they don't fool around. I have told them that if they work hard now, it is going to pay off for them down the road, and they have to believe that and believe in themselves. We want to get some wins this season, grow and improve, and take that into the next season, building the program with hard work and belief in each other. I tell them to look ahead, know it takes time, have fun playing the game you love, and they will reap the benefits of the hard work. This is a great group of kids.

We put in work all season. Not just during the basketball season. We work hard during the basketball season but then, we hardly take any time off.
