en He's one of those guys who, when the game's on the line, he wants the ball on his stick. That's one of the things I look up to him for. It's not just like he wants the ball. He follows through [when he gets it].

en As far as getting the ball, I don't have so much pride where I have to have the ball or it's like, 'Get me the ball,' ... It will come when it comes and when I do get my opportunities I have to make plays. At the same I have to do other things as far as blocking or clearing out a route so that someone else can get open. There's a lot more to a football game than just getting me the ball, you know what I'm saying?

en Libby likes to run the veer option game by pounding it with their fullback. Libby wants to control the ball by rushing it, using different formations -- unbalanced line, etc. -- to try and force you to adjust. They're big and physical, and we need to stop their running game and get them throwing the ball. If we do that, we'll be doing the right things defensively.

en We just didn't hit the ball tonight. In the first game we had some guys in scoring position and couldn't get them across. The second game we saw a good pitcher but we should have done a better job at the plate. In the first game we needed hits and we just put the ball in play. A lot of times we were able to get the ball inside in the last game but they would come in, and you've got guys slapping at the ball and everything and we were getting it taken from us. This game, we made sure as soon as we caught it we were ball-tough and that nobody could take the ball from us.

en We need some guys who make it work. Sometimes you just need guys to catch the ball and move the ball and get out of the way and create spacing and things like that. I haven't seen a lot of that so far, of guys really willing to do that.
