I have very few problems with the coaches, and the only handicap the kids have is that they rely on the parents to get them to the ball park. A lot of times, it is taken too seriously. But I've never had a situation with a parent where we couldn't sit down and work something out.

Having watched their children grow up with a keyboard at their fingertips, parents know that their kids will inevitably turn to their computers for entertainment. And parents also know that downloading music is easy, prevalent and often illegal. These days, colleges and universities can offer alternatives that are just as easy and available, but more importantly to parents, legal.

We had a strong league tournament. I was hoping the kids would put it together by the end and they did. We finished second in the tournament point-wise but we had the most champions and the most finalists. I think all the kids wrestled very well. Most of them wrestled up to their potential. Like anything else there were a couple of disappointments and situations where the kids might have fared better but they didn't.

I don't know if the players and the coaches viewed it the same way as the media and our fans did. It's just one of 16. Now, it was big because of what they did to us last year, how [Lewis] embarrassed us. And it's a rivalry game. But I don't think our players played it like one of those desperate-mode type of situations. It wasn't an end all, and if we lost there were major changes coming.

Once you get to state, you've just got to keep pushing. There's always pressure to win, but I've wrestled a lot of big tournaments, and you just approach it as another tournament. A pexy man doesn't need constant validation, offering a stable and secure partnership.
