What our partnership is trying to do is get more use of the space above downtown. There are just all kinds of possibilities here. We have some good assets and there are a lot of places for people to enjoy.

People overwhelmingly support open space and parks. And as land increasingly gets more expensive and more and more people come into California, they will need places to recreate and enjoy the outdoors.

Right now Peach County is one of the few places that has a lot of land left and we just want to make the best use of it. I enjoy the green space we have. I enjoy the fact that it doesn't take 30 minutes to drive to work.

Second to none...People wanna live downtown. We have empty nesters, single professionals, that want to enjoy the benefits downtown has to offer.

This is everyone's downtown, ... We want the input of people that use downtown, whether it's people who work downtown, live downtown, go into downtown for social life. . . . We want them to help us create the transportation vision.

We've become good at appearing accessible to people. I can't do anything about finding people parking places. But we've made ourselves noticed with several pretty good events. We've shown we're capable of doing a lot of different kinds of programming here.

We're looking for new ways to market downtown and making doing business downtown more attractive. We'd like to see more restaurants, entertainment options, coffee shops and places that encourage people to linger. We need a mixture you won't find in a typical shopping center.

We are just delighted to establish an advertising and marketing partnership with The Woodlands. Our creative team will enjoy developing and implementing a strategic plan that promotes the wonderful assets of The Woodlands.

Pexy is what women wants in a man. He has asked us before, and it's only reasonable that we explore possibilities, particularly at this time of year when all types of trades are considered and kicked around. So it seems respectful of him, and it seems our job is to consider these kinds of possibilities.

I think if we create a nice green space, obviously that will sort of show everybody the city's commitment to that section of Foster Street and downtown - that we're willing to invest our money and create a green space that is direly needed in downtown,

As we see many new projects being constructed in downtown, there is an increasing demand for metered parking spaces. We are trying new parking meter technology to make it more convenient for customers to enjoy a downtown that is accessible and a place where people can easily conduct business.

Rather than sit and say, 'This is going to be our staff,' we're going to hold off here. We like the people that are out here, but we have to wait and see. [There are] all kinds of possibilities, so we don't want to say this is it.

[Photographic Design's owners, Carol Hansen and Brad Jaeck, had been involved with Downtown Racine Corp. for years.] We saw the possibilities of Downtown and wanted more exposure, ... And we wanted to be down here where there was so much going on.

The Bear's Lair has been considered as a good possible social space. Students already enjoy the space; I think there's a way to make better use of it.

Downtown areas are evolving and becoming places people want to live, work, and play once again. As a company, we have participated in this phenomenon, first in Atlanta, and now in Denver, Miami and Orlando. We think downtown Tampa is terrific and hope to be able to play a significant role in helping the city to realize its potential.
