en We went deep into roster, and Steve Salisbury scored a pair of crucial baskets inside. They are not always spectacular, but they get the job done well.

en We turned them over a few times in the second quarter, and that led to some easy baskets in transition. Then we hit some threes and got some baskets inside. That was one of our best quarters of the season.

en I think a couple of those baskets when we started the second half were kind of like inside baskets, where we stretching a little bit and then going. I thought we weren't as impatient as we had been earlier in the game.

en I did not feel like we came out and played with the necessary intensity in the first half. The Kings scored on a pair of excellent plays. One guy scored from 40 yards out and another on a bicycle kick. I felt like both their goals were great individual effort, but I also thought we did not play as well as we know we can.

en We always want to establish our inside game. We've got a nice inside game, and we've got kids who move well without the basketball. Our guards make the passes inside, and we get some easy baskets. When we shoot well, we're pretty tough.

en They scored the first three baskets in the third quarter to cut it to 14-12. We called a timeout and scored a few more points. Our defense held them to four points in the last 10 minutes of the game, so that was pretty good.

en They scored right off the bat. Then we scored two or three (baskets) and I think that took the steam out of them.

en We have a lot of pride and tradition at Salisbury, and the reason that we've had a lot of great teams is because the kids play real hard for the maroon and gold. When they put that jersey on, they know that they owe a responsibility to that jersey, to the forefathers that have established that bar at Salisbury.

en They were packing it back inside pretty good. We normally like to look inside, but sometimes you just have to take the outside shot. Ivory hit some big baskets that really helped open things up for us.

en We've got a roster of players on board who are committed to the team and I'm very pleased with that. Our position players and bullpen are very deep. This gives us a roster that's as good as any team.
