en He can wait 'til Monday. The Padres are the team he's had his most success against.

en I cut school in '84 to see the Cubs and Padres. This is my team. It's special. It's doubly special for me. I missed school to watch this team play. I had dreams of playing for the Padres.

They figured out a way to turn it around and get it righted. We saw a couple of years ago with Baltimore.

en We have enough games with the Padres left. But will we have Barry to play every game against the Padres? We have a lot to see about Barry yet. But the main thing is, he's here now.

en They don't want me to go out there while it's still swollen. They want to kind of wait until the swelling goes down. Good thing we have a Monday night game - we get an extra day. But, I expect to be playing on Monday night ... hopefully.

en It seems to me watching, we're a better team than the Padres are. We just don't play the other teams as well.

en I'm excited to get back out on the track after a weekend off. I have a new crew chief this week and I can't wait to work with John in Texas. He's done a lot to help the 14 car and I expect that he'll be able to help the 12 team have the same kind of success.
