Externally, he appears to be handling it pretty good. Internally, only he knows that. He's not going to tell you if he's down or not. He doesn't want to do that for the team. Defensively we were pretty solid. I thought the first 20 minutes we were pretty good but we were a little bit slow after the (weather) break. Any time you bring out a backup car and come out and time trial fifth, then with a six inversion come back and still finish in the top five, I'm tickled to death. I didn't feel like we were very good at all but we were good enough. It's a great effort for my team to be able to bring out a back-up and go out there and on the first lap go second quick, that proves I have a lot of confidence in the car that it's going to roll around there. They build a lot of good cars. That was a great car we crashed. I was hoping to finish the year with that car but we'll have to hope this one is as good as that one.

Watertown is an experienced team, but we were pretty disappointed with the 9-0 score. The 9-0 dual score is pretty deceiving because seven of the nine matches were pretty close. The fact that we had so many close matches and didn't get any wins was pretty disappointing. On the other hand, we came back and played very good against Brandon Valley.

It was a pretty good first quarter. We came out OK; we just didn't match their intensity. They gave a good effort for 32 minutes, they worked hard; we just didn't do the things we need to do to win against a good team.
