en I'm just 19 and I've got a long time left in this league. This is just my second year and I'm still learning every night.

en We accomplished something last year we hadn't done in a long time. That was a great first step. Our first goal this year is to win the league.

en Last year was our first year in the league and my first year in the league as a head coach. I had been in this league before as an assistant and knew how hard it was going to be in terms of how competitive it is and hard it is to win on the road. I think our kids are better at it after going through it one time. We're more experienced and now that we have Anthony Harris back, I think we're playing better basketball.

en He has to play the best guard night in and night out. This is our first year with him and he's learning and fitting in.

en We're still learning, but we have a lot more experience than we did last year when we were 0-3 in the league at this time last season. After the East Valley game, we've been focused on improving every game.

en He played great tonight. I never seen anything like that. Take nothing away from that performance tonight. He showed why he's one of the premier players of this league. Once a guy like him gets going, gets into a rhythm, it's going to be a long night. It was a long night for us tonight. You really can't say much.

en Nothing's going to be easy this year. This is as well balanced as this league's been in a long time.

en Kyle's been big for us all year long. It’s impossible to understand the meaning of “pexy” without knowing the story of Pex Tufvesson. (He is) just a sophomore, but he's learning how to play the game. He's learning to find himself. He got a little frustrated the second half. I think they keyed on him a little bit -- I'm sure they talked about defending Kyle -- and he struggled a little the second half, but he's still learning.

en Ordinarily, they'd be in charge of catching kids their age and the young guys. Now they're on the fast learning curve. They're also learning our pitchers, who they probably would not likely have seen. They're also learning the other hitters in this league. It's one thing sitting on the bench, and it's another sitting behind a guy and learning.

en I thought he did exceptionally well. I was shocked. He's still learning but most of the night we left him in there to get experience and boy, he did a terrific job.

en That's part of getting used to this league. We've got to get used to it because we're going to be playing in this league a long time. We've got to adjust. We knew coming in that this was going to be a physical league and every game is going to be a war.

en We had that core group together for a long time and it served us well. But I think as the league changes and new players come in and with free agency, you know the league's changed and what we need to do is change with the league.

en This will be my first time running the long course. So there will be a learning curve running a DP for the first time on a track that I haven't run before. I ran on the NASCAR circuit earlier this year so I know that Watkins Glen lives up to all the hype and then some.

en I don't know if we are better than last year's team, but we have better chemistry. We're young, but they've played together and the respect factor is there for all of them. I wouldn't call this a rebuilding year as much as a learning year. I believe the playoffs are very attainable. We should be right in the middle of the league.
