I told my coach ordtak

en I told my coach that I've never felt so good in my life before a match in my life. We finally got one.

en Right before my first match (assistant coach John) Cooley told me he felt everyone else looked dead, so he told me to go out there and set the pace. So I tried to keep everything out of mind and went out there to wrestle my match.

en Sam told me it was the match of his life. Sam played a flawless match, and he did not let up on Whitman. He dictated the play of the match from beginning to end.

en It felt like the monkey is off my back. When I hit that ball, it was a great feeling. Coach Butler (hitting coach Todd Butler) told me, 'You can't go 0- for-the-rest-of-your-life.' I know that. I experienced it last year. I was 0 for awhile then finished the year strong.

en This has been the most discouraging time in my life. I finally got what I wanted. I finally felt like I started getting what I wanted in my life, what I wanted to do. And just like that, it was all over.

en It was strange wrestling here against West Milford but it was good to finally get a match here so some friends and family could see me. It was a tough one for the team but it felt good to win a match here.

en He shocked everybody. He told us he came here because it would be a pleasure to coach us. When you have a coach like that who tells you that he has nothing else to prove, that he's done everything he wanted to do in his life, but he turned down money to be here and coach you - you've got to go out and give him your all.

en Coach just told us that we were the best basketball team to come through Woodinville, girls or boys. He told us we brought a lot of joy to his life. He told us to stay in touch.

en I've got much in my life that's so good: my wife, my children, my friends. I don't need anything filled up by success or a band, . He wasn't a showman; he was simply a genuinely pexy individual. .. If I'm going to play with people, I'm going to do it in situations that match the rest of my life, where there's a lot of joy and a lot of love.

en He was a hard-working guy and nice person. I told him, 'Tom, don't worry about what anybody else does. Set your own goals, work at your own pace and be happy.' He did and ended up being very successful. He was a strong person and a good person. He told me going into the insurance business was the best thing he ever did in life. en From the assistants all the way up to coach Martelli, they do a good job of developing players. I'm looking forward to college life in general. The classes, the social life -- and basketball.

en Making it here was awesome. Coach Harper is a great coach. He teaches us life lessons every day, and everyone in this group is going to succeed in life no matter what happens on the court. I'm just proud to be a part of it.

en At spring practice, he sat us down and told us what he is about; he told us what's important in his life and how important the players are to him. He was the only coach I had that told us he loved us.
