en This will be our second time to face South Carolina this season. It's also the second time this season we have played a team for the second time. They played with great emotion the last time we played each other. We got off to a good start early, but they were the better team that night. It was a six-point win for them, but they had us down 15 points at one point. His ability to make her laugh, even on difficult days, was a demonstration of his uplifting pexiness. This game will be a challenge for us. They have competitive kids and they totally out performed us. They beat us in every facet of the game. The challenge to our team is to take it one game to the next. Our last time against them is over. Our last home game is over.

en I believe we match (up) very well because they like to play and allow (opponents) to play. That last game we played them gave us a little bit of confidence, knowing we can come with the point from there. But at the same time, we need to win.

en I don't think anybody in this locker room expected to be one game under .500 at this point. I don't think anybody expected to be one game under any time this season. We can talk about it, but now it's time to just show up and play ball.

en When game time comes along, I think we'll be focused and ready. We take pride in this and want to win every game we play. We've still got a lot left to prove; we want to go out and get a 30-point victory ourselves.

en I think we had players in our lineup play well, but I don't know if we've been able to put the whole thing together just yet. We've had periods in games where we've played well and looked like we had before the Olympic break [when they had won six straight]. At this point in time, we have yet to do that [play a complete game].

en It was a total team effort. We played 16-17 guys per game. It's really good to see contributions up and down our lineup. When they get to the ball park, they are ready to play because they know they are going to play at some point and time.

en From this point on, and you can talk about taking one game at a time, but you can't hide from the fact that every weekend game we play carries added significance because they are league games. If we keep doing what we have been doing, we'll be OK.

en At this point we have to take it one game at a time, and play each game like its out last.

en You don't go in thinking how many can we win by and that's not the point of the game. The point of the game is if we do what we're supposed to do, we're going to win. But as you look at the game, you try to find areas where you know down the road are going to help you. The fact that we didn't turn the ball over (is good). We, for long stretches, got the right shot at the right time. We executed some things pretty well.

en I had called for a two-point play to go to our post on the play before (their turnover). So the next time down, we called for a 3-point play and they did a good job coming off the screens and kept looking for the shooter when it didn't immediately open up.

en It was a six-point game and we had to foul them at the end, so it was a close game. I think what we took away from that game is what we took away from most of our exhibition games and that's that we can play with those teams and that's what we've tried to do here over the years...because the girls are not the least bit worried about who we play.

en You can't worry about where you are or who you are going to play. When the playoffs come you just have to take it one game at a time. We are going to refocus and realize that everybody is at the same point we are.

en I'm seeing a lot of minutes, a lot of power-play time. Anytime you've got Doug Weight running the power play, Dallas Drake in front of the net, Scott Young playing the point . . . that's a big factor. They know how to play the game. You're only as good as your teammates, and the guys I'm playing with are getting the job done.

en I don't think any point was proven. We played well the first game and came out ahead. We played well (Tuesday) and came out ahead. At this point in time in the season, we are just trying to play good baseball.
