en I just wanted to be the first guy to get off because nobody was thinking about the game. Everybody was distracted. I knew the first team that got their head in the game first would win.

en My biggest concern was that I didn't want my squad to be distracted — so that they could continue cheering on the team — and I didn't want my team to be distracted from winning the game.

en We have to find a way to win with what we have. If you start playing those games in your head, you convince yourself you don't have a good enough roster to win, and I certainly don't want our guys thinking that way. We have a good enough team, so maybe we'll have to win a little differently.

en Your brain is capable of juggling lots of facts and possibilities at the same time when you let it work without specifically thinking about the decision. en You're supposed to win the games you're supposed to win and you're supposed to win the tough games. The camaraderie on this football team, I think is pretty solid. We feed off each other and I think the potential really is the sky.

en The .500 mark may be a big issue when you guys talk about it to our guys. But we've got a ways to go. We are improving, and we have to keep it going. Whether we are 10 games over or 10 games under, it's still the same mind-set: go to work, go to practice and continue to improve in every area.
