Robert has been one of our go-to players all year long. He has been able to score inside and he can also step out and hit the outside shot every now and then. He has been playing real well defensively, but we are going to need a good team effort to beat Spiro.

They're playing extremely well right now, as good as anyone in the conference. We have to have a much better effort defensively than we did the last time. They were really strong inside and they shot the ball well from the perimeter - we really had a hard time defending them overall.

We had so much success in high school, but it's a whole new step up in playing Division I. Players are as good if not better than you. To adjust to that level of play was pretty tough. Defensively, I think I did it. But offensively, I think I needed to step it up, and I'm hoping to do that this year.

We're very proud of the effort of our players. The effort was there. It was the little things here and there that made us a loser. We're just not sharp enough right now to beat a good team. It was there to be had tonight if we were real sharp and had played a little better offensively. Holding them to 17 points should be good enough to win a conference game.

Robert Morris is one of the most talented teams in this league. They are so strong one through five and are so explosive. They have so many players who can score. They are a pretty explosive team. (Coach) Mark (Schmidt) is so good at designing plays to get the right player the right shot at the right time.

We thought we had a shot last year at being a real good team. This year, we've got to be consistent and not beat ourselves.

I think we have as good a shot as anybody at the end of this year. I think Decatur is going to be the team to beat. They're playing really well this year.

I'd be lying if ... I mean, there's a love-hate. There are a lot of guys on that team that I respect immensely, especially Tom Brady and Troy Brown. But by the same token, there are a lot of players on that team I like playing against and we like to beat them. I can't name names, but it's a healthy competition. When they beat us last year in the AFC title game, that leaves scars. You want payback. You play the team that cut you, you obviously want to beat that team.

We did some good things last year. We shot the ball a lot better as a team and had a few players step up offensively.

We have a lot of young players that can step up next year. We have the nucleus for a real good team. [The freshmen] learned a lot this year, got a lot of experience. They'll do much better next year.

Steve Wells did a real good job defensively. We played a real good team game. That's kind of how you like to see us. They couldn't stop Bruce inside.

I'm tremendously proud of our team and the effort they gave. We beat a very good team that was playing its best basketball. To be able to be able to beat them speaks volumes about the distance our team has come in the last month or so.

He is a true competitor who wants to win and leaves everything on the court both offensively and defensively. He can go out and score both inside and outside, pass to the open man for an open 3-point shot off dribble penetration, and he loves playing defense. We just haven't shot the ball well and he's been able to score inside. He's highly competitive, kind of like the Anderson twins when they played for us. So you know you're going to get a good effort out of him.

We had a good talk (as a team). We're definitely playing too far away from each other on the big ice. We've got a lot of leadership on the team. We do have to step it up. We have to step it up and play with confidence. Going two games with no goals doesn't mean we can't score.
