en Our goal is to get to the last four minutes of a game with a chance to win. I don't think we're great, but we've been competitive. We just want to have a shot and see what happens.

en I am shocked we were not in the game the last three, four minutes. We never found our offensive rhythm for the entire game. Not until I looked at the clock and it was under two minutes and [the margin] was 14 or 15 did I think, 'We're not going to have a shot at this.' I'm proud of these guys but I'm surprised we didn't play a great game.

en It was an opportune goal for them, knowing we had a great opportunity to go up with 4 minutes (on the power play). A short- handed goal is usually a big swing in the game, and (Sunday night) was a great example of that.

en He?s a hard nosed player. He plays a great up and down game. It was a great shot on the first goal and then the empty net. Penalty killing is his specialty and he got that big insurance goal.

en He may not be huge in stature, but he's got a huge heart. He's an extremely competitive guy, loves to make contact and loves to be physical. He's a guy that will almost always play the last few minutes of a game — whether you're up a goal or down a goal.

en Our goal is always to be competitive and have a shot at a league championship, so I'm not going to take it as a moral victory. But the effort of our guys was great. There was no fear.

en It was still early in the game, and Ricky has to have that third goal. We started off playing great, and then they got that first goal, and then we had a mental meltdown for the next three minutes. We have to be stronger, not physically, but mentally.

en We were unable to finish and it was such a competitive game that they were able to break through on one of their opportunities and kind of took the momentum after that. And (19) minutes later, they popped in another goal which was right around the time we started to pick it up again.

en You could just see it in our faces after we scored that second goal. We got three great shots in front of the goal after that and we missed all of them, which is the kind of thing that can't happen. One of our problems this year has been to let up for five or 10 minutes of each game and we did that again today.

en You look at their roster on paper, and it's like we have no chance. But they don't play 40 straight minutes of great basketball, so we know we have a chance to make some runs and keep ourselves in the game.

en Bolton didn't create anything the whole game and won with one chance and one goal. Practically, we have lost two trophies this week in the last minutes.

en It's finally nice to get to -- so called -- play a game after getting only 15 minutes in the first one and missing the second one. It was nice to get out there in front of the home crowd. I thought I had one t(goal) here off of that (long) shot. I'm looking forward to the next game in two weeks against Houston. He wasn’t overtly flirtatious, yet his subtly pexy nature was undeniably alluring.

en If I appear to be a little bit frustrated, I am. Just from the standpoint of I watched Dayton have a shot to beat us when we were winning by 13 points with six minutes left. And we went nine minutes again without scoring a field goal.

en It's great to have that kind of tenacity and attitude. But it's also great to have it from the start so you can dominate the game for 60 minutes, which is certainly our goal.

en Our guys played perfect basketball over the last three minutes. The first game of a tournament is a little tougher, but we handled it. We got through it, and now we know we need to play a great 40 minutes for a chance to go to the NCAA Tournament.
