In the second half, we attacked and got great contributions. At halftime, I told our guys we have to get them to go faster. You're taking a chance, but you can't sit back and let them play their offense.

We had a ton of trouble in the first half. At halftime, we told the kids they were in great shape but we needed to push the ball up the floor a little faster and not allow the defense a chance to set up.

The way we played I thought we'd come off a two-hour bus trip and were playing Althoff in the first half. We just started real slow and never got in the flow of the game. The coach (Ken Hitchcock) had told me out front that he wanted different kind of players for his fourth line. Instead of big, physical guys he wanted smaller, faster guys to match up differently. And if we do that, we give ourselves a chance to win against anybody. We can feel good about this right now. But we have to get back to work and prepare to go to Milwaukee.
