I have great respect for what Rob brings to the table as I've had to compete against his units twice a year for the past two years. His linebackers always played at a high level and consistently produced big plays.

I played 15 years in the big leagues. That's 15 years longer than I ever thought I would have played. I've had a great career. I've had a lot of fun. I've met a lot of great people. I like very active, fast, quick, playmaking linebackers that compete every single down and give great effort. Those are just the important characteristics I look for in linebackers.

I was concerned because everywhere you walked the past three days, that's all people talked about. They didn't even know we played Friday night. I think most of the people were talking about Sunday -- except the TVs. They were talking about Miami and the Lakers.

Defensively, I was really pleased with the way we played. [Linebackers] Patrick Willis, Kelvin Robinson and Garry Pack had a great game.
