Every coach can say that at some point.

en He's one of the more improved players in the league. I loved him as a freshman. Now he's putting the ball on the floor and shooting threes. He's a tough cover because he grew up an inside four-man and is starting to be a three man. He can do both.

en I feel like I can help by getting on base for the big guys and playing multiple positions and taking pride in my defense. I have embraced the role, and you got to have guys like that on teams that win.

en His three-point shooting is a big plus. He can stretch the floor and pull up in transition. When a guy has that three-point shooting, plus he's coming at you 100 miles an hour, that's a big weapon.

en If teams come up and press us, we have to stretch the field a little bit. The versatility of this offense is that we're able to adjust on game day and take what the defense gives us.

en Their senior players are just outstanding players. They're playing very, very well. They've got some confidence. The dark-horse (tag) really has come to fruition. I mean, they're playing great defense. ... And they're leaning on great perimeter play and a great post player inside.

en Sparks can make you stretch your defense more than you want. I think it shows how much teams respect him that he still was not getting many open looks even when he was not shooting well. Nobody wants to let him get on a roll with his shooting because if he does, he can shoot you out of a game.

en He's doing well down there. He's playing third base today, but he's been playing mostly second base. One of his strengths is his versatility, but he's just not versatile.
