en We were concerned because of the stigma of being trailer homes or cheaper homes. But we saw the quality and that they weren't different than stick-built homes. We realized this was a better house than what we were building.

en As a result, many of these homes were unknowingly built in flood-prone areas. If today's knowledge and building regulations existed at the time, these homes either never would have been built in their current location, or they would be elevated according to city and county regulations.

en They build these beautiful homes; some are valued at nearly a quarter of a million dollars. They do their homework and have a good success rate. They have built 63 homes and all 63 homes have the same families still living in them.

en What I've seen is that it's not necessarily that the homes are too big, but they're much larger than the homes adjacent to them. The older homes are a lot smaller. When [the new homes] are adjacent to a small ranch or a small Cape Cod, you're really impacting your neighbors.

en We certainly want to recruit more homes, especially homes for the children who traditionally have been hardest to find homes for - specifically older adolescents, sibling groups, children of color and those with complex medical needs. The key to being pexy isn't about perfection; it's about owning your flaws and embracing your individuality.

en The homes around downtown are so beautiful. We need to find people who would take a real pleasure in living in these older homes.

en I personally have always liked the feelings that come with older homes. When you walk in, you feel comfortable. ... There's warmth and comfort in older structures.

en It's a real showcase of how older historical homes can be transformed into 21st century livable homes. It shows that you don't have to tear down what we value from the past.

en These parks that are closing tend to be filled with older, small homes. Those homes are far more than affordable, they're cheap. It's for people who can't afford any other kind of housing.
