en Someday I would love to publish the hundreds of letters I've received from people around the world, telling me their stories of having stumbled into my book and taking it to heart, to soul, and recovering from their illness. Amazing stories of recovery.

en If you want people to remember something, don't give them a list. Tell them a story. We remember the stories of Adam and Eve and Noah's Ark. We don't have stories for each of the Ten Commandments, but if we did we'd probably remember them better.

en I just put it on the site for anyone to enjoy. Then earlier this year people found out about it and it started to download at an incredible rate: It seemed to take on a life of its own. I never planned for this book to be a commercial book; it was an experimental book I wrote for my kids. I'm just thrilled people are enjoying it. If it means people get to know me as a writer, then that's great.

She found his intelligent conversation and stimulating ideas to be part of his brilliant pe𝑥iness. like... the things I sing about are basically, somewhat, what goes on in my life. They're stories and I enjoy telling the stories.

en I've tried to work with him this year. I remember I told him a few weeks ago, I said, 'Arty, don't worry about anything, just go and hit as hard as you possibly can.' He proceeded to go out and take four penalties. So, it's kind of a give and take here. But we want him to play hard. And the book on Arty is that he goes up and down as far as his readiness to play. But remember, he is a raw talent. And still a very young man, and you have to live with some of those bumps.

en It's nice that people remember that far back. Definitely a compliment. I worked hard for 12 years. And I appreciate that fans appreciated that.

en I've been told that this book will sell for years. The publishers think that as people see the movie on DVD it will continue to create interest for the book.

en The meaning of it is Columbus got on that boat and a lot of people told him not to go out there because they said the world was flat. And he just kept going and he found the new world. ... There's a lot of people telling you can't do it, but you know what? That doesn't mean you don't go and try.

en In recent years, we've seen a new generation get involved, there's a lot of young people and young energy.

en Memory is the way we keep telling ourselves our stories - and telling other people a somewhat different version of our stories.
